In the church we may tend to fake it by putting on a smile. Take off your mask and be real to those in your life. When you make a mistake, go to your Heavenly Father with a attitude of repentance and live. You are not starting all over again from zero, but you are resetting where you just were. You continue to grow and mature in Christ Jesus our Lord. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide, counsel and teach you His ways, the ways of Jesus.
Ezekiel 18:30-32 (NIV)
“Therefore, you Israelites, I will judge each of you according to your own ways, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall. Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, people of Israel? For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!
