Our Father and Our God as we come to the start of another day. I’m bringing those who are struggling this morning with one issue, or another. Today tests will be taken, Lord give them favor. Someone is having surgery, a procedure, chemo, radiation, etc; Lord give them favor. Lord loved ones will be laid to rest. Lord comfort those who are left behind. Lord, You are mindful of the sparrow, so we know that You are mindful of us. Lord touch, heal, and comfort. In Jesus Christ’s name Amen 🙏🏾

Our Father and Our God the love that You have shown us doesn’t compare to anything that we know of. The story of the Good Samaritan is an example of love. He showed compassion when others walked on the other side. He gave his resources and time as he used his goods to render aid. Finally, he gave his word that he would return and pay a debt that he did not owe. To whom it may concern. You don’t have to have much. However, if you have genuine love, you have more than enough. Lord help us to show love. In Jesus Christ’s name Amen 🙏🏾

People are quick to say that we cannot judge. However, that is not true.
Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
The first verse suggests that we shouldn’t .
The second verse says that if we do,then we will be judged by the same measure .
The third verse makes this point. Check yourself first, before you check others.

Our Father and Our God as I come this morning,standing in the gap for others. I am asking for Your forgiveness,and asking You to forgive my sins. Lord I Thank You for Your grace and mercy. Lord touch those who are hospitalized and those in nursing homes. Lord comfort those who are in hospice care and those who sit by their side. Someone is heading to a funeral. Lord hold them,and keep them. So much is needed, so Lord hear our hearts when our mouths can’t speak. In Jesus Christ’s name Amen 🙏🏾

Our Father and Our God probably since the beginning of time. We have lived for the weekend. Lord this morning I am asking You to help us to live for You. I remember those days of waiting for the weekend so that I could go and be reckless with my money and time. However, I know the importance of being a better steward of both. Lord help us to understand who You are in our lives. Thank You for Your grace and mercy and the love that You give us unconditionally. In Jesus Christ’s name Amen 🙏🏾

Our Father and Our God we don’t know what tomorrow will bring, in fact, we don’t know if tomorrow will come. So many people believe that they have time, time to get it right. Time to proclaim You as their Lord and Savior. But we know that life is short. So tonight I am praying for lost souls. I’m asking You to give them time. Lord not just this generation, but my generation and generations before me that have not accepted You into their lives. Lord, I cry out to You on their behalf. Save them, Lord. Luke 23:34 “Then Jesus said, ‘Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they’re doing…'”

Our Father and Our God the struggle with forgiving others is believing that they knew what they were doing. Believing that they did it intentionally and with malice. Then we see Your Son up on the cross asking You to forgive them.
The depth of what He was saying. They didn’t consider the consequences for their actions. They didn’t think it all the way through. Even though they may have had regrets and maybe felt remorse. It was too late. Not too late to be forgiven. But too late to stop the action of the crucifixion. Lord forgive us because sometimes we just don’t know. In Jesus Christ’s name Amen 🙏🏾

Our Father and Our God now and then it is good to look back and sing the old songs that kept our ancestors encouraged. Remembering our past will help us not to repeat those things that caused us pain. Remembering where You have brought us from, then sharing with others who may be dealing with what we once did. Letting them know that You are a redeemer of those whom You love. Tonight our prayers are that You will continue to keep us. In Jesus Christ’s name Amen 🙏🏾

Our Father and Our God Thank You for another day. Let me paint a picture. I sat off to the side and watched my friend receive people as they walked by to share words of encouragement. Little did I know that he was watching me. A tall young man, his grandson walked over and introduced himself. We exchanged small talk and talked about his grandfather as well. He said to me “My grandfather told me to come over and talk to you”
The reason for the story is to make this point. Even in his hour of grief. He was mindful of me. He didn’t have to be, and certainly, I would have understood. However, he was. My prayer this morning is that we will be mindful of each other.
Lord Thank You for being mindful of us. In Jesus Christ’s name Amen 🙏🏾
